Sunday 1 April 2018

Excellent weekend getaway from Delhi, just hundred and tweenty kms drive on a smooth highway, National Highway 8 is NEEMRANA. Basically it is an Industrial Area, not much for sight seeing but if you want to relax and unwind, GRAND HIRA RESORT is the ideal place with sprawling Lawns having well manicured grass looks like a green carpet. Also it is very good option for weddings and conferences. Can accommodate fifteen hundred to two thousand's gathering. They have Indoor games like Pool Table and Outdoor Swimming Pool.

Seventy keys resort has spacious rooms with all the basic amenities. Rajwada is the all day dining, multi cuisine restaurant. Bikaner Restaurant in on the same premises, where all travellers and Buses come all the time. We reached the resort at the lunch time, so straight away went for lunch and as suggested by GM, Sudeep Yadav to have traditional food, we relished GATTE KI SUBZI, BADI n PAPAD KI SUBZI, PANEER, GOBHI, PINEAPPLE KA RAYTA along with Indian Breads. Food was really good with distinct flavor with  the use of special yellow chilli grown there.

For the dinner we had it from the buffet, had the Salads and LAAL MAANS with Rice, was okay. Morning breakfast again buffet was there, tried a few things, POHA was a bit dry, Bread Pakoda and Cheese Roll was awesome.

Overall a good change from a routine life. Exec Chef Anil Singh is quite experienced and F&B Manager Sudesh Dabral, were courteous.
