NATYA YOG by Dr Dimple Kaur at Eros Nehru Place hosted by Eros Hotel Spa and coordinated by Nupur Gupta


Feels privileged to attend the NATYA YOGby Dr Dimple Kaur, an effortless dance with breath & gravity at Eros, Nehru Place hosted by Eros Hotel Spa. A contemporary Theatre artist and performer of Indian Classical Dances like Bharatanatyam, Vilasininatyam, Chhau.

Highly qualified and multifaceted Dr Dimple Kaur has done PhD in Psychology with more than a decade practicing psychotherapy, is a trainer, Dance expert. A recipient of many awards like Nritya Ratna Award, Apoorva Pratibha Award.

Psychology and Indian Classical Dance is been blended beautifully by her in healing Depression, Stress, Anxiety, counseling. She has been successful in training people to be physically fit and emotionally healthy.

A pleasant evening, a bit cold too, on the lawns of Eros Hotel Dr Dimple performed Shivoham, Swayambho…a bharatanatyam presentation on interpretation about philosophies of Lord Shiva and encouraged guests to perform along with her.

Mesmerized by the performance and her pleasing personality !

NICKLEDOEN SUNDAY BRUNCH from 19th Feb to 12th March, 2017 at Downtown Kitchen & Bar, Courtyard Marriott, Gurugram ....Brunch based on the fictional characters like Motu & Patlu, Dora....


Endeavour of the enthusiastic young team of Courtyard Marriott succeeded in organising the NICKELODEON SUNDAY BRUNCH on 19th Feb, 2017 at Downtown Kitchen & Bar. The kids have the chance to meet their favorite Cartoon characters here. The lavish Brunch is themed on the basis of these characters. This time the theme was Motu & Patlu. The Sunday Brunch is on till 12th March, 2017 and the Brunch will be based on the fictional characters like Dora, Spongebob and many more and their favorite dishes, like Spanish dishes for Dora. For the kids there is much more to do like painting competition, tattoo fair, balloon painting.

Not only for the kids, the parents can relish the Buffet Brunch in Alfresco seating while the kids are busy with themselves enjoying in comfort. Mocktail Brunch is prices at 1945 plus Taxes, Cocktail Brunch at 2895 plus Taxes, Kids 6 to 12 years at 1000 plus Taxes and the Kids under 5 years are free


Motu Patlu’s favorite TINY SAMOSA, PAPRI CHAAT, ALOO TIKKI CHAAT were awesome, crisp, tangy and sweet. GLASS NOODLES SALAD WITH BEET ROOT JELLY…..tasty, sweet and sour. From the desserts of Motu Patlu’s likes tried MOTU PATLU PIRAMID, WALNUT WHITE CHOCOLATE SLICE, MOTU KI BALU SHAI, CUP CAKE. The whole section of desserts looked amazing with Motu Patlu’s pics on them.


The fresh herbs grown in-house is the best part here, which gives aroma and freshness to the delicacies. From the Grill section had some PRAWN, FISH, MUTTON CHAP, PINE APPLE, STUFFED ALOO, perfectly done with mild spices.

From the Italian spread , STIR FRIED SEA FOOD, MORROCAN LAMB STEW, CHICKEN WITH GINGER & LEMON GRASS SAUCE, EGG PLANT PARMEGIANO, CHILLY & PARSLEY GIANT GARLIC BABY POTATO. Thoroughly enjoyed each and every delicacy.



GM Bhawna Verma, F&B Manager Anuj Soin, Asstt F&B Manager Ravi Yadav, Marketing Manager Ritika, with their team worked hard and after studying the characters, their likes for the dishes brought this NICKELODEON SUNDAY BRUNCH for their guests to give them an experience.

FORTUNE SELECT EXCALIBUR, Sohna Road, Gurgoan....a perfect weekend destination to enjoy delicious food, soulful music and for relaxation at cool ambiance


Happy that we decided to go to Fortune Select Excalibur, Sohna Road, Gurgoan to spend quality time to celebrate family function. It is a great option for a weekend getaway for people living in Delhi NCR. Checked in on Saturday evening and headed to THE BREW HOUSE. A glass house with lots of greenery, a perfect sit out yet sit in cool comfort.
Enjoyed the evening sipping freshly brewed Craft Beer with authentic German Malts. Live Music by young guy entertained us by singing some soulful songs.



 From the Munch Box had some SPICY MASALA PEANUTS, ORIENTAL SPICED MINI WANTON CRISPY POPCORN and MEXICAN NACHO . MINT PEPPER CHICKEN, SHRIMP BALLS, GOSHT KE KADAK KEBAB, KHUMB MOZRELLA, BACON WRAPPED PRAWNS, SPRING ROLL are the starter we relished.

Headed to INDIA ON MY PLATTER, the Indian speciality Restaurant for the main course. Here Nizam Sabir Khan, the renowned singer made the evening memorable by singing songs and gazals of our choice.


Welcome drink CHAACH was very refreshing. RAM LADDU with green chutney and raddish was crisp. ACHARI KHUMB , perfect with real achari flavour.
GOSHT HIHARI, SAG PANEER, PANJABI KADHI PAKODA, SARSON KA SAAG, DAL MAKHNI, tasted just a spoonful of these delicacies. All perfectly done with flavour. ULTE TAWA KA PARANTHA , relished the crisp and a bit sweet parantha.

SHEERA KI BURFI….the ultimate dessert, saffron flavored semolina done with milk and khoya and dry fruits.

We were staying at the hotel, so had the breakfast at the ZODIAC, the 24 hour Multi cuisine Restaurant. Extensive variety of dishes were laid for the breakfast. Had the awesome PLAIN DOSA from the live counter, along with some STIR FRIED VEGES, BABY POTATOES, CORN IN TOMATO SAUCE , FRESH ORANGE JUICE.

Thanks to Sanjeev Mahajan, MD, Sunil Khera the GM, Aditya Oberoi the Brand Manager Operations, Inder Dev the  Brand Master Exec Chef and their team for the courtesies extended  and made the stay memorable.

EROS, NEHRU PLACE is celebrating DHABA Cuisine of Highways of Northen India from 3rd Feb to 12th Feb, 2017 at Singh Sahib




EROS, Nehru Place’s Team is always very enthusiast in planning any event and which they are doing quite frequently, good coordination among team, work hard in every detailing and come out with flying colors. This time they have brought the cuisine of Highways of Northen India i.e. from Panipat, Karnal to Jalandhar, Amritsar at their outlet Singh Sahib. 

Umesh Dalal, F&B Manager, Nikhil Rastogi, Exec Chef and their team first travelled these places to get firsthand experience before organizing the event here. After studying and trying hard, they have achieved the desired tastes of the delicacies which they want their guests to explore.


Greeted with the welcome drink in Dhaba style….whisky done with cinnamon, clove…… Some famous small outlets of Amritsar doing brisk business while maintaining the consistency of their delicacies like Beera, Telephone Exchange. So here we had BEERA KA ROAST CHICKEN….done on grill to retain the moisture and the softness. ATTA CHICKEN, MAKKA KI MACHCHI.

TELEPHONE EXCHANGE KI MUTTON CHAAP…..relished this excellent crisp Mutton Chaap with Khamiri Roti. PAYA SHORBA….healthy shorba done with khare masale.



DAL MAKHAN WALI, BEERE KA BUTTER CHICKEN….tasty yet so different from the regular butter chicken, KUNNA GHOST PATIALASHAHI….gosht  done without tomatoes, MALAI KOFT….too soft and delicious, PALAK PANEER AMBALEWALA, BHRAWAN KE CHHOLEY ….had all these with some unique and tasty chutney like KINOO KI CHUTNEY, ALOO CHUTNEY, ALOO TAMARIND CHUTNEY.


Crisp JALEBI with KADAI DOODH is the dessert, not to be missed.

CAFÉ ON 3, the 24 hour, Multi Cuisine Restaurant at Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar is celebrating KOSHUR SAAL the traditional Kashmiri Cuisine FEST from 1st Feb 2017 to 12th Feb 2017 is curated by Rajni Jinsi, a housewife from Legendary Vessus family from Anantnag now settled in Faridabad. She incorporated the passion for cooking from her mother who was also a very good cook. She has been cooking for family and friends for long, also doing for parties for quite some time.

For the first time Holiday Inn Mayur Vihar has offered her to showcase the delicacies to their guests and she has done an excellent job to keep the traditional taste of Kashmiri Pandit Food alive.


Started the evening with KEHWAH, the traditional and refreshing  tea done with cinnamon, cardamom, saffron along with the breads SHEERMAL, KATLAM…., Ganth Gobhi ka achar which is made with its leaves.


KABARGAH, the fried fatty mutton ribs done with the batter of yoghurt, kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, heeng… was awesome , relished with raddish chutney called MUJH CHETIN and DOON CHETIN, the walnut chutney.


GUCHCHI SHORBA , the spicy and tasty shorba, very appt for this season.
MATS GUND…… meticulously made kebab with minced lamb, done with the curry with kashmiri spices. DAMA OLUV……potatoes in curd based curry, perfectly done. MURG YAKHNI….. succulent chicken in a yoghurt based gravy. NADUR GAD….the fresh river fish cooked with lotus stem


CHOEK WANGAN…..very tasty sweet and sour eggplant cooked in gravy.  NADRU YAKHNI….Lotus stem cooked with yoghurt and kashmiri spices.
SHUFTA… enjoyed the delicious dessert made with dry fruits, honey, paneer, saffron.
The unique thing here is the food we relished was made without Onion, Garlic, Tomato whereas all these are integral part of our food throughout.

It was an experience and one must visit, it is only till 12th Feb.
