Right on the highway, tall building, visible from quite a distance is The Westin Mumbai at Goregoan. Huge Lobby with glass walls around emitting natural light.  Prego is the Italian restaurant here, on the ground floor itself. Approx 200 covers restaurant is with alfresco seating.

Chef Antonelo from Italy is here to give you the authentic Italian delicacies inspired by his mother and grandmother. Many ingredients, Veges and fruits are brought here regularly from Italy to get real taste of the dish. Everything is made fresh at the live Stations. People from far away places also come frequently to relish the awesome authentic Italian food.

Very polite and humble Chef Antonelo brought the eye catching Amuse Bouche for us......Burrata Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula Leaves, Olive.....fresh and awesome.

Twisted Pasta done with Pesto Sauce, Mushroom Risotto, Pizza, Fish made and served artistically with assorted veges. Enjoyed the sumptuous meal and chatting with Chef.

Mail Today of India Today Group organized KUMBH CALLS confluence at Vivanta Ambassador, Delhi, who are the media partners of the UP Tourism for the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj.

Ms Anju Chaudhary, Tourist Officer, Deptt of Tourism Lucknow addressed the distinguished guests from Media, Travel and Hotel Industry about the extensive arrangements being made to make it Safe Kumbh, Swachh Kumbh and their motto is "Chalo Kumbh Chalen". Deevotes believe that bathing in holy river will clean their sins, so they go there on large numbers.

She also explained about the world class facilities are created to make the pilgrims feel comfortable. New flyovers, roads, over bridges, broadening of roads......All these facilities will not only facilitate the pilgrims but residents of the pryagraj and the devotees & travellers traveling the city later on besides generating employment for the people. Recently been to Mumbai .....
Ambassador Hotel, after more than a decade went to this place and felt the warmth here as you really don't feel it everywhere these days, this is purely my observation, people have become so professional that they somehow don't realize the importance of small gestures......

The location of the hotel is very central, on Marine Drive, Churchgate. We went for lunch at Flavors Cafe here. Restaurant is brightly and beautiful done up. So colourful and lively ambiance. Lohri Fest promotion was going on with some famous delicacies on the menu made during this fest and the season.

Awesome Sarson ka Saag, Makki ki roti, Jeera Aloo, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani with Indian Breads, Mutton Biryani, we relished along with some amazing cocktails.

GM Mr Jagdish Saighal, Exec Chef Dhairyashil were great host n so was the team at flavors. It was a brief meeting yet very interesting.

Ahmedabad city through my lens and my observation.....

Explored Ahemdabad city, realized that the city is running at a medium pace, not very slow and not too fast and this is purely my observation. People are cool and simple. Traffic is not very heavy, and the best part is that still today, women can travel here at anytime with out fear. Had visited this city long long ago, so food was not the main agenda for visiting here at that point of time. Had a good time with relatives, while doing the sight seeing.

This time along with sight seeing food was also on the mind or rather the focus was on food as have been exploring and writing about the food for last couple of years..... had some faded memories of Sabarmati Ashram, Drive in Theater,.....

Stayed at Holiday inn Express on Ashram Road. Here Asia Kitchen is the restaurant serving multi cuisine and also handling the entire F&B for the guests. So had a wonderful time relishing good food from Khakra, Vada Pao, Idli Samber to Biryani, delicious Tom Yum Soup, Dimsums,.....and the yummy Crispy Honey Noodles with Ice cream...... while staying here, as in Delhi also, for Pan Asian Cuisine, we always prefer to have it at Asia Kitchen Delhi.

Explored few other eating joints, the famous Swati Snacks in Law Garden area, Serving traditional Gujrati delicacies.....had Panki Chat, Bajri Uttapam, famous dessert Sukhadi

Timpani, the restaurant at Radisson Blu Ahemdabad was celebrating WAZWAN, the Kashmiri Food Fest by FAYYAZ WAZA from Kashmir Valley. Attended this food fest and relished some authentic, mouthwatering delicacies.....Kanti Chicken, Goshtaba, Rista, Mutton Biryani.....

At the same time visited the very famous Sabarmati Ashram, Akshardham Temple, Law Garden area, the payment market selling traditional Gujrati things and costumes. Alpha Mall, Sidi Saiyyed Mosque......

Rajwadu, the resturant based on village theme, spread in huge area, different style of seating, with live folk performance, serving traditional Gujrati and Rajasthani food....tried Desi Handvo, Mix Dal Muthiya..... loved it

Tomatoes on CG Road.....had awesome Maxican dish, Hot Pot, Pasta, Apple Pie.

Had some Sandwiches from the famous Sandwich Street.  Bought Khakra from Induben's. Some sweets from Kandoi sweet shop. Tasted the very famous street food Gathiya.

Overall wonderful exploring,  many more places yet to be explored.....
