ZODIAC, 24 hour Multicuisine Restaurant in Fortune Select Excalibur on Sohna Road, Gurgoan offering delicious buffet at a very competitive price


If you want value for your money with a decent and delicious Buffet, then ZODIAC is the place.  ZODIAC ,the 24 hour dining place in Fortune Select Excalibur on Sohna Road, Gurgoan  serving multicuisine such as Italian, Chinese, Indian,……& added Arabic too.

Very spacious Restaurant on ground levels, ZODIAC  is a lively place with very high ceiling with glass wall around giving a depth to it and the greenery outside gives a scenic view. Elaborate Buffet, they are offering at a very competitive price of Rs 1199/- plus Taxes for Lunch and Rs 1599/- plus Taxes for Dinner. Sunday Brunch is for Rs1999/- with Alcohol and Rs 1599/- without Alcohol.




Enjoyed some delectable starters and some fusion too, the CHICKEN SPINACH ROLL IN THAI FLAVOUR….flavorful  soft chicken roll rapped in spinach, BEER BREWED CHICKEN…., JAFRRANI CHICKEN TIKKA, NIMBU ADRAKI MAACH….very prominent adrak and nimbu’s flavor, PUNJABI MACCHI TIKKA….spicy machh in punjabi syle, SUBZ CHEESE ROLL…cheesy roll with veges, GREMOLATA FISH….done with gremolata …the condiment made with lemon zest, parsley and garlic, TANDOORI DIM SUM, JHINGA ANARI, TABANYAKI CHICKEN POCKCHOI……all well done.


Although tried some very very small portions of the above starters yet it was somewhat full, still tried a bit of Oriental dishes…..DICED CHICKEN IN SHEZWAN SAUCE, ASSORTED VEGES IN BARBEQUE SAUCE, BLACK MUSHROON, BLACK FUNGUS IN LEMON CHILLI SAUCE, VEGES SPINACH NOODLES. Enjoyed these Oriental light dishes after some heavy starters.

Brand Master Chef Inder Dev, Brand Manager F&B Aditya Oberoi and GM Sunil Khera  along with their team are all there to welcome the guests .

WORLD ART CAFE...truly a WORLD CLASS CAFE is come up on Delhi Gurgoan Highway near Shiv Murty...a small cosy Cafe


WORLD ART CAFÉ by SANJEEV MAHAJAN is truly a WORLD CLASS CAFÉ, splendid display of Patisserie, Breads, Cakes, Chocolates, Gift Hampers makes you drool over them. A cosy small Café with the focus on take away or home delivery.

Come up on Delhi Gurgoan highway, a week ago, easy to locate as it is right on the road near Shiv murty and the signage is so powerful that one can see it from quite a distance. A product of Nimitya Hospitality, where Fortune Select Excalibur on Sohna Road, Gurgoan is there from nearly a decade and going great, also the WORLD ART DINING in Punjabi Bagh, a kind in itself.

The meticulously crafted menu by Brand Master Chef Inder Dev, Aditya Oberoi, Brand Manager F & B and the GM Sunil Khera’ s hard work is visible here.

This High End Café is quite a relief for people in vicinity and also for the travellers or to be a meeting point for some and to grab a quick bite.




The mouthwatering delicacies like GOSHT SHAMMI KEBAB….soft, just melted in mouth, MASCARPONE DAHI KEBAB …ultimate, Crisp DUCK WANTON, PERI PERI CHICKEN SPICY PIZZA…so colorful & crisp, SPINACH & CORN QUICHE, CHICKEN QUICHE… wow with an excellent presentation.


The best Dal in the city DAL-E-FRONTIER, done in white butter with hours of slow cooking and PURANI DILLI MUTTON CURRY…..as old age famous in Old Delhi, done in desi  ghee with spinach…..must have ….
Some rare delicacies can be relished here….BADAM HALWA, AKHROT HALWA….pure Badam and pure Akhrot Halwa …flavourful, awesome, also  all time favourite MOON DAL HALWA and the seasonal GAJAR KA HALWA,,,,great.
The fusion dessert….GULAB JAMUN CHEESE CAKE….layers n layers of Gulab Jamun and Cheese, makes it delicious and creamy.


Will have to visit N number of times to relish each and every delicacy !!

HOTEL RAMADA NEEMRANA,a very appropriate destination for a day trip or a weekend getaway to unwind and enjoy at a quite place on Delhi Jaipur highway.


NEEMRANA, a very appropriate destination for a day trip or a weekend getaway to unwind and enjoy at a quite place on Delhi Jaipur highway. It’s about two hours drive from Delhi on a smooth road. Had a wonderful time at a recent visit here.
We planned to stay at RAMADA NEEMRANA which is right on the highway few kilometers before Neemrana Fort Palace, the famous heritage hotel.  In between the drive is quite scenic with Mustard fields on road sides.
The entrance to the hotel is not very impressive with a small and a bit dull lobby, but the warmth of the staff is inviting, GM Biswajit Chakravarty was there at the time we reached the hotel and greeted us with a big smile.



Exec Chef Ravinder Kumar made the dinner memorable for us. Started with the starters, BEETROOT KE KEBAB, TANDOORI BANARSI ALOO…..stuffed aloo in Banarsi style done in Tandoor, perfect with distinct flavor,  ZUUINI BELLPEPPER FRITTERS and some non veg CHICKEN ROLLUPS, MURG CHUPARUSTAM….awesome , chicken stuffed with minced mutton, presented nicely , C HICKEN DUMPLINGS.


For the mains, we had KUNG PAO CHICKEN…..a Chinese delicacy, PANEER JAHANGIRI, SLICED FISH GINGER SPRING ONION….the tanginess of ginger and fragrance of spring onion makes the dish perfect, MURG JAISALMERI….succulent chicken made in Rajasthani style, along with NASI GORENG….the Indonesian style of flavorful fried rice.



CHICKEN SPINACH CANNELLONI …..Minced Chicken, spinach, cheese stuffed in pasta sheets and baked….delicious, HUNGARIAN LAMB GOULASH….The star dish for me, perfectly done with excellent presentation and so colorful.


Although had tasted enough but then couldn’t resist the desserts……GAJAR KA HALWA, DOUBLE CHOCO STRABERRY MOUSSE. FRENCH OPERA, MOCHA CHOCOLATE CREAM CAKE…all in house products.

HOUSE OF SOY at Radisson Blu Faridabad is a Pan Asian Restaurant serving cuisines such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai,.....


What an exemplary experience we had while savoring the delectable food at HOUSE OF SOY in Radisson Blu at Faridabad where celebrity Chef Rakesh Sethi is heading the F & B Deptt as Exec Chef.
Chef Rakesh Sethi, a household name for more than three decades is an alumni of IHM, Pusa Delhi with many Food Shows, Television Shows to his credit and currently also presenting on FM too. Cooking is a serious art and his passion for cooking has made him create innovative flavors and techniques for every palate to satiate.
HOUSE OF SOY is the Pan Asian restaurant serving cuisines such as Japanese, Chinese, Thai……., is one of the outlets of Radisson Blu, a hundred plus keys hotel with all the modern amenities.




We started with VEG POPIAH which  was awesome, soft and crisp, SUSHI, Veg as well as Non Veg,  the vinegared rice  combined with veges and meat, seafood were excellent. WOK-TOSSED CHICKEN DRY CHILLI CHONGQING STYLE…..the bite size chicken done with garlic chilli sauce, soy sauce and other ingredients, a bit chilli , yet excellent.  DIM SUM, again both Veg and Non Veg, the ingredients wrapped in translucent skin were great.
TOM TUM, the Thai soup is best for this season with hot & sour flavors and fragrant spices, herbs like lemongrass, galangal, lemon,….



For the main course we relished STIR-FRIED EXCTIC CHINESE GREENS, VEGES IN CHILLI CBLACK BEAN SAUCE, WOK-FRIED PRAWNS WITH SICHUAN CHILLI SAUCE, DICED CHICKEN WITH WATER CHESTNUT and the delicious STICK RICE STICKS.


Will have to visit again to relish, the beautifully presented KHAO SUEY, a Burmese delicacy where veges & noodles are done in coconut milk and is a meal in itself.


DATE PANCAKE with COCONUT JAGGERY ICE CREAM….no to be missed.

It was a delight and enjoyed the food with excellent presentation !!
