Weekend Getaway at COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, Sushant Lok, GURGOAN.......thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there while relaxing and relishing excellent food with refreshing drinks


Felt privileged with the warm welcome we received when we reached COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, Gurgoan  for a weekend stay at the hoitel, by the team with Tikka ceremony and welcome drink, and by the way we were not the VIP guest , it is the ritual they follow with every guest who stay there.

A four star category hotel with all the amenities of a modern hotel is approx two hundred keys hotel in Sushant Lok, Gurgoan with Multicuisine Restaurant with some live counters, Fitness Center, Pool, Conference rooms, Spa.


Good thing for security reasons, you have access to your floor only where you are staying except the first floor where there are only, Pool, Spa and Fitness Center. They have live singing on Friday, Saturday and for Sunday Brunch in Downtown Kitchen & Bar. Spacious and lively room with nice colour combination where we stayed in Executive floor, it uplifts your mood.


Lavish spread for buffet was laid at the Downtown, started dinner with some refreshing cocktails and starters like HONEY CHILLI POTATO, ALLOO SUBZ TIKKI, TANDOORI CHICKEN, PAPRI CHAT……all just perfect. Tried quite a few dishes, just a spoonful each ….MUTTON BIRYANI with RED CHILLI SALAN, TOMAYO SALAN & MIX VEG RAITA……awesome with aroma of spices, MUTTON CURRY with VERKI PARANTHA, Flour mixed with Gram Flour the Verki Parantha was crisp delicious. Relished some dishes from Italian section, HERB CRUST ROAST CHICKEN with lime jus….looked amazing and so was the taste, BASIL & GARLIC  SAUTE VEGES, PAPRIKA ROASTED POTATOES, PAN SMEARED POLENTA STEAK, BAKED VEGES with CHEESE & OLIVE…..

LAUKI KA HALWA, HOT CHOCOLATE WALNUT PUDDING, …..awesome, delicious desserts which we tried amongst array of desserts.



Breakfast again had an ample choice….Fresh veges are kept on the counter for the guests to ask for a customized juice along with some fresh juices, canned juices. Had fresh BEETROOT and CUCUMBER juice with some fresh cut fruits, KHICHDI with curd, herb IDLI, WAFFLE with fresh cream, fruits and nuts, maple syrup….extremely delicious rarely had such waffle.

Now the time was for SPA. TATTWA SPA is there with their Beauty therapies and Massage treatments which has fifty branches all over Marriott Hotels. Enjoyed and felt refreshed and lighter after taking the treatment from the trained staff who knew their job well. Ajay, who is looking after the SPA here is well versed  with the subject.



Lunch was again sumptuous with CORN PULAO, ACHARI BAINGAN, KARI PAKA CHAPALA VEPUDU, FONDANT POTATO, GARLIC TOSSED VEGES and for the desserts MOONG DAL HALWA, BREAD BUTTER PUDDING, RASGULLA.


Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The young energetic team, GM Bhawna Verma, Exec S Chef Saroj Kumar, F&B Manager Anuj Soin, Asstt F&B Manager Ravi Yadav, Room Div Manager Namit  with their team are all there to make the stay comfortable for the guests.
