HALWAIZZA.....Event organized at PCTE, Ludhiana, Punjab showcasing hundred varieties of Halwa on Pizza Base



Highly enthusiastic and super energetic Anirban Gupta, the Dean of Hotel Management at Punjab College of Technical Education, Ludhiana, Punjab has created a new record of hundred varieties of Halwa, with the help of the students under his guidance. Very passionate about the hospitality industry, feels now is the time to give it back to the industry whatever he has learned so far.


The Punjab College of Technical Education in Ludhiana is spread in huge area and very well maintained. Dr Kang the Director of the Institute is running it smoothly for more than a decade.



It was an honor to be invited to this event Halwaizza where they showcased these hundred varieties of Halwa. The name Halwaizza is the combination of Halwa and Piazza. He feels that today's generation is more inclined towards fast food, so he wants to give them a healthy version and came up this concept of Halwaizza, Halwa on Pizza Base.



After thorough research and trials, the end result is mouth watering. Mutton, Chicken, Egg, Cheese Cake, Butterscotch, Bitter Gourd Halwa,........you name it, they have it and on top of that, they have used Stavia instead of Sugar to give sweetness or in some, little Jaggery is used, to keep it healthy with Clarified Butter.

Out of these hundred varieties of Halwa, the three were declared as first, second and third. Third one is Pan Gulkand Halwaizza, second one is Rajma Halwaizza and the first one is Mutton Halwaizza.




Very well organized event to showcase the Indian delicacies to people all over.
