FOOD WALK AT TAWAK

The name of the recently launched restaurant TAWAK is derived from Sanskrit…called Cinnamon which is one of the most revered & traded spices , the ancient Spice Trade…..so the TAWAK…an endeavor to take along the foodies to rich flavors of Indian & Oriental Cuisines, inspired by the traditional cuisines .
The fifty plus cover restaurant is come up in Sector 63, Noida with an open Terrace . The décor will take you to by gone era…..the ancient coins hanging at the top, rope lamps , bright red standing lamps, photo frames adorned the walls, the exposed brick wall……

Impressed with the Thai Puchka served with the sweet & sour tasty concoction in Tequila glass. Cucumber After Work mocktail was refreshing with cucumber base but the Jasmine Tea & Ginger Elixir….with pomegranate juice was little over sweet. Got to know that no artificial colors are used here.....which is very good !

Tandoori Paneer Roll…stuffed with cheese and dry fruits …was soft and tasty. Galouti Kebab with Ulta Tawa Parantha was awesome, melted in mouth and the way it was presented was also good. Awadh Ke Shole-Chicken Breast stuffed in creamy marination & slow roasted in tandoor was creamy n perfect. Cantonese Fish….steamed with Cantonese style white garlic sauce ..i found it too soft.

Dahi Kebab were great and crispy from outside & creamy from inside, Bhutte ki tikki …shallow fried corn patty with creamy yoghurt as topping good . Crisy Water chestnut were okay.

Kho Soi was marvelous….the way it was served was great, it was like make your own Kho Soi…with the ingredients and toppings provided separately. Thai Curry was perfect.

Walnut Topped Brownie with Chocolate Sauce & Vanilla Ice Cream was delicious but didn’t like the presentation…was served in a bottle looking messy. Silk Cake was not so silky, but was not bad with biscuit base.

All the best to Team TAWAK !!
