PRIDE PLAZA HOTEL is one of the hotels, operational for one year, a Five Star luxury Hotel with three hundred plus keys.

CAFÉ PRIDE is an all day dining place. A huge place with around hundred plus covers is very lively café with decent ambiance. These days the café is more colorful and vibrant as the BAISAKHI FESTIVAL, a religious festival which marks the Sikh New Year, a spring harvest fest and for Hindus too it is the Solar New Year, is on here till 23rd of this month.

A lavish buffet spread with authentic Punjabi delicacies is there to celebrate the occasion. Exec Chef Shailendra Singh offered AMUSE BAUSHE, the traditional Shikanji with Kulcha Chana in a nice small platter. Master Chef Sartaj Qureshi brought some mouth watering starters…..SEEKH KEBAB, ANJEER ALOO KEBAB, CHICKEN TIKKA, PANEER TIKKA…..all were excellent.

MAKAI MATAR MAKHANI……tasted awesome with makai with gave bit sweetness to the dish, PALAK KUMBH…..palak  was done in puree form which gave the dish a distinct taste , DAL MAKHANI….okay,  DAL DHABA…. I found a bit bland, ACHARI BAINGAN …..good achari flavor, BHINDI MASALA….great with smoky aroma, had with KALE CHANA KA PULAO and Indian Bread.

SINGHARE KA HALWA……delicious, GUJIA  was done with Jaggery  which was good and was crisp but wish  there were more nuts and mawa for the stuffing, PINNI and MILK CAKE ….perfect.

GM, Pankaj Mathur, Exec Chef Shailendra Singh, F & B Manager Prithipal Singh, Master Chef Sartaj Qureshi, Marketing Manager Raja Singh are all working hard to cater to the guests and make their stay comfortable.
